Our boot camp program is the best training method Bethany offers, and shows the most results.  The boot camp program is mainly intended for extremely out of control dogs, but we are more than happy to take in any dog for this program.  Boot camp is $1,400 for 2-4 weeks, the price also includes your very own electric dog training collar ($250 value), and two follow up in-home training sessions after your dog’s return home.

During boot camp, Bethany takes your dog home with her for 2-4 weeks, training and teaching them every day.  While your dog is here they will be on a very strict E-Touch ™ training schedule, and will be rotated between various activities during the day to keep them focused, tired, and happy.

• We will take the time to teach your dog to respond to the lowest level possible on the e-collar.

• We will take the time to teach your dog exactly what we want them to do when they feel stimulation from the e-collar.

• We will teach your dog how to be off-leash reliable, by your side, even when there are distractions around.

• We will teach you how to correctly use the e-collar so that you are 100% confident that you can work with your dog when we aren’t there.

• We will teach your dog a “place” command (which is similar to the “stay” command).

• We will use a pack of balanced dogs to help your dog remember how to be a dog again.

• We will keep you updated on your dogs progress everyday with videos, pictures, and descriptions through our dog training blog.

• We will teach you the importance of proper nutrition for your dog.

• We will give you a very strict schedule for your dog to follow after they return home, to help them bring everything they learned with me to your house.

• We will teach you dog psychology and pack mentality to help you understand how to communicate with your dog better, and how to read their body language better.

• We will master the walk with your dog, teaching them to walk by your side with a loose leash (it’s important that your dog knows how to walk with a loose leash, even though they will be off-leash reliable as well).

• Master sit, down, and stay (with distance and distractions).

• We will teach you many different ways to correct your dog properly, when needed.

• We will teach your dog to walk on the treadmill (if you have one).

• We will talk about the importance of crate training.

• We will work on any major behavior problems (aggression, anxiety, fear, obsessions, over excitability etc).

• We can teach up to five fun tricks (roll over, play dead, etc).

• Clicker Training is available upon request only

While your dog is here we will include them in a lot of socialization, pack walks, focus work, agility, treadmill training, obedience training, off leash training, distraction training, Pack to Basics ™ and more!  The boot camp program is accommodated to what you need your dog to improve on and learn.  Every dog will experience a different boot camp than the dog before them.  We are very flexible with what we can teach your canine friend, so please let us know exactly what you would like your dog to improve on or learn!

During the two - four weeks you are encouraged to call Wasatch Canine Camp to check up on your dog. After the two - four weeks are up, Bethany will return your dog and teach you how to continue the dog behavior training successfully on your own.  We will then schedule two free follow-up appointments for three weeks after your dogs return, this will help insure your dog is staying on track with the training.

Reminder training for Boot Camp clients is $300 per week or $50 per day.  This type of training generally takes place if your dog is slowly forgetting what they have learned after your dogs return home.
