A basic consultation for dogs over six months of age includes two sessions for $150, plus a free day of drop off training.  Each additional session after that is $50.  For each extra dog it’s an additional $50.  Each session is held in your home, and takes 2-3 hours, covering any questions or concerns you may have.

.

Since each dog is different, each session is different and accommodated to what your dog needs in order to learn and succeed.  Here’s a list of what will will teach your dog during our training sessions:

  • We will teach you the importance of proper nutrition for your dog

  • We will give you a very strict schedule for your dog to follow while they’re in training

  • We will teach you dog psychology and pack mentality to help you understand how to communicate with your dog better, and how to read their body language better

  • We will master the walk with your dog, teaching them to walk by your side with a loose leash

  • Master sit, down, and stay (with distance and distractions)

  • We will teach you many different ways to correct your dog properly, when needed

  • We will teach your dog to walk on the treadmill (if you have one)

  • We will talk about the importance of crate training

  • We will work on any minor behavior problems (chewing, digging, barking, potty training, etc)

  • We can teach up to two fun tricks (roll over, play dead, etc)

  • Clicker Training is available upon request only

If you would like to teach your dog something, and we didn’t mention it above, please let us know.  We are very willing to be flexible for you during our training sessions to make sure you and your dog learn everything you need in order to have a happy and balanced dog.

One of my favorite training tools is the Halti, because when used properly, it has a natural correction that other dogs do to each other, so it makes a lot of sense to dogs when they're trained to the Halti. Daddy is doing that exact correction to Tallie right now. This picture is the perfect example of a dog correcting another dog by biting their mouth until they relax, which is exactly what we do with the Halti. One of my favorite training tools is the Halti, because when used properly, it has a natural correction that other dogs do to each other, so it makes a lot of sense to dogs when they’re trained to the Halti.
