Bethany has both a mental and physical connection with dogs and their behavior. Her experience growing up with animals throughout her life has helped her gain the gift of understanding dogs and how they think.  Through life’s challenges, Bethany has been able to learn how to control her energy, stay calm-assertive, and be patient.  With her energy, dogs that she works with are able to feel comfortable and trust her with what she wants them to do.  This helps them to relax so their unpleasant behaviors improve quickly.

Megan Lewis has known Bethany for almost two years.  They first met when Bethany first started having Pack to Basics ™ socialization classes.  Since then they have become good friends, and Megan is now learning how to help Bethany during evaluations and during Pack to Basics ™.  Megan has been working with horses for the last 10 years, and since working with Bethany, she has realized how close dog training really is to horse training.  Megan has a natural calm-assertive energy when she is working with dogs and horses.  She is a quick learner, and is definitely a natural when it comes to working with dogs.

Alan Tracy and Bethany have been married since May 2009, but they have known each other their whole lives.  Bethany has taught Alan just about everything she knows about dog training and dog psychology.  Alan mainly helps Bethany with client dogs that are at home with them, but he will also occasionally come to consultations with Bethany and help out during evaluations and Pack to Basics ™.  Alan has a great calm energy, and most dogs love him the second they meet him.  Dogs with nervous energies usually gravitate towards Alan, because his calm/relaxed energy is just what they need to feel safe and secure.  Alan also made Wasatch Canine Camp’s website.
